To understand the ecological role of cities, its harmful effects and measures can be applied to reduce these impacts is necessary primarily city considered as part of environment. Hence, it is important study of energy consumption, air pollution and urban evolution during economic growth. In this regard, in the present study it is trying to review environmental impacts, energy consumption, population growth and urban economic development based on econometric model STR model 2001- 2008 for the period the annual Iran's economy.
